Our postman doesn’t ring twice but the brakes on his motorbike squeak. Now where’s the romance in that? Despite this I’m generally happy to see him, especially yesterday when a print I had ordered from Soma Gallery in the UK was delivered.

"Work hard and be nice to people" by Anthony Burrill

Now I loved this print when I saw it online but it’s even better in real life. Signed by the artist and printed with vintage wooden letterpress printing blocks on gorgeous heavy art paper it has a lovely sense of texture that really fits the sentiment. I can’t wait to get it on the wall.

I can’t help but compare this sentiment with the party slogans throttling this campaign. It makes so much more sense than Moving Forward or Real Action (choke). I mean, just what other sort of action is there?
