Recently the Flipster and I were lucky enough to spend a week in Cambodia. After our brief stay in Phnom Penh and a rural village just outside Tani we’ve come back ready for the Melbourne winter. One project I’ve been neglecting is getting this blog/site going again. Started in 2001, it has fallen into a sad state in the last few years. Time to do something about it
Its Day 3 of 30 days of biking. At least it’s not raining.
As usual we headed off to school on our bikes. Friday is a very relaxed day, nothing after school that we need to race off to, so The Flipster rode his dragster. With 12″ wheels its not the most practical bike for getting around but it is possibly one of the best looking. Its tricky for him to wear his school backpack because of the sissy bar so these are the only mornings I agree to carry his bag for him. I suspect that’s another reason he likes riding it.
After dropping the kids at school I had extended coffee at the brunswick east project with lots of crafty mums before picking up my groceries from the co-op. Forgot to take this shot while I was actually riding so you’ll have to settle for “arriving home”.
Yesterday was the first day of 30 Days of Biking. We’d be riding 5 or 6 days of every week anyway but we decided to join in, what better way to celebrate Spring! Or it will be when the weather’s a bit better!
