It was a stunning spring morning when Val and I took to the 3CR studios earlier this week. This week on the Yarra BUG Radio Show we were joined by Andrew Miller from BASE (Bright Alpine Sporting Events) and Richard Read. Andrew and some mates from Bright were so inspired by everything Bright has to offer riders they have put together their own event, the Bright 24hr. Mountain biking is booming and we talk about its growth, the culture and the different ways a 24hr can be ridden. BASE have come up with an ingenious way to make 24hr events accessible and fun for all sorts of riders. Richard rode the inaugural Bright 24hr last year and chimes in with his take on the best way to enjoy 24hrs of riding. We did manage to also squeeze in a little news and events.
