The Fringe festival is underway and one of the more local events is the annual Sydney Rd Window | Frames. From Thursday the 23rd September until the 10th of October shop windows between Albert St and Albion Rd will feature the work of local artists including various artworks, including sculptures, painting, photos and prints.
I have one artefact in the window at Kiddy Kidz, 662 Sydney Rd Brunswick. Artefacts are unique pieces as fine quality photographic prints are mounted on found objects. No two will ever be the same. The photographs are taken using vintage cameras and the lenses are as worn as the objects they have been mounted on!
