Monday, if its not too far back to remember, was a glorious winter’s day. Sun, brilliant blue skies and bracing fresh air.

The Flipster and I wagged school and other responsibilities and absconded to Lake Mountain for the day with friends. The mountain had been so busy the day before that it had to be closed but Monday was perfect; gorgeous weather and just enough visitors to keep it sociable.

Meanwhile, back in Melbourne, I’ve started preparations for my next trip to the snow with the purchase of this vintage hat from Aspen.
