I’ve resisted the urge to grow amaranth until now. I figure there should be at least one or two passing bandwagons that I don’t leap on to.
But last week I saw it in the kitchen garden at Heide, looking very attractive. This morning , growing from the gravel on the ground of an inner-northern-over-priced-nursery-on-a-creek. When we questioned the girl working there she replied that yes they did sell seeds, but then reached down and pulled off a large handful of drying seedheads and gave them to us. The universe is telling me something.
This afternoon I strewed amarath seeds in the veggie garden. We’ll see what happens.
Well, I’ll send some of the rain we’re having, so that your strewn seeds wil have a chance to grow and flourish. 🙂
😉 thanks!
