Friday the 5th December seemed like a good chance to kick off the Pub Crawl again with Sint Niklaus visiting our local kroeg, De Tapperij.
Jacob was invested as a new member of the jury, uncle Ben attended as international guest juror and the Sint put in a sterling performance.
Lots of oompy-poompy music, scores of Black Piets and a couple of beers later we felt that we’d achieved quite a bit. Jacob’s Dutch cultural education was well under way, the visiting foreigner had been awed with gezelligheid and our duty was done for another year.
